  • A full recompilation has been made to be compatible with High Sierra, and as Universal Binary to keep being compatible with both old (PowerPC) Macs and recent (Intel) Macs.
  • The 'How to intall it?' paragraph of the documentation has been updated to explain how to install and launch the Application in particular under Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra:
  • Under Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra, if you're launching the Application for the first time, Mac OS' GateKeeper (which you can configure in the 'System Preferences') will refuse to launch it because you've not downloaded it from the Mac App Store (but from our website). In this case, instead of double-clicking on it, all you have to do is to right-click on the Application's icon, and then select the 'Open' menu. A message will appear in which you'll be able to confirm that you want to launch the Application (even if it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store from an Identified Developer).

  • Hi HaiTech- Text and graphics are pixelated in Numbers, Pages, and probably other older Apple apps, because Apple has not updated them for the retina display. IWork is so due for an update that I'm guessing they are waiting to release a new version soon with the retina graphics rather than update the 2011 version.
  • I'm thinking that it's probably time for a new Mac anyway as a long-term solution, but I'd love to be able to salvage this one at least in the meantime. Any help would be greatly appreciated because this kind of issue is definitely a first for me. Macbook-pro hardware video display.
  • I'm using an LG 32UK50T-W 32' Class 4K UHD FreeSync Monitor as my main display (connected via DisplayPort, 3840 x 2160), and a ViewSonic VX2703 27' as my secondary display (connected via HDMI, 1920 x 1080), both connected to a Radeon RX 580 8 GB graphics card. I had these 'fixes' implemented.

Pixel Tester is a simple Mac app that allows you to quickly test all connected displays, in order to identify pixels that do not work properly.

Depending on the display area in which you place the mouse, Pixel Tester shows different colors and patterns: pure red / blue / green when the pointer is in the bottom screen area, and pure white for the top of the screen.

  • As long as you use Pixel Tester unregistered, this software works normally, but it has a time limit and annoying windows (Registration window, Popup windows).
